I recently posted about our definition of classic bikes, about not being restrictive and our desire to start the club with the right ethos & feel of a classic club. However it has become very apparent to the committee (more on these peeps in following posts) that even in the very brief period we quietly started accepting memberships that without defined restrictions we could easily the loose vibe we hope to maintain. For anyone who has already placed their form in I will be in Touch.
It is with these goals in mind that we are implementing membership requirements:
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
As we are the South Wales Classic Motorcycle Club, members are required to own a motorcycle that is either 25 years old or a modern retro bike. This will preserve the classic nature of the club. If you’re not sure if your bike qualifies, just send us an email and we’ll let you know:

We feel that there really is no choice other than to take these measures to ensure our exclusive member ride-outs and activities are in keeping with the club ethos.
We will still welcome any type of bikes on non-exclusive ride-outs but will always proviso these runs with the nature of the ride e.g. open to 125’s
